Cookie Policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies and similar technologies are small files or identifiers stored on or accessed from a device during browsing. They may be necessary to operate the website, remember a choice or measure its audience in aggregate.

2. Controller and managing your choice

The controller is Jorge Millán Serrano, who can be contacted at jmillans404@gmail.com. You can accept necessary cookies only, accept all cookies, or configure non-essential cookies through the initial banner. You can change your choice at any time using the website’s “Cookie settings” link.

Accepting necessary cookies only must be as straightforward as accepting all cookies. Non-essential cookies, including analytics cookies, will not be installed or read before your consent is obtained.

3. Technologies used

Jmillans.es does not use advertising cookies, run Google Ads campaigns or use Google Signals. Vercel Web Analytics and Metricool Visit Tracker provide aggregate metrics without cookies or persistent identifiers. Metricool’s tracker records the page viewed and uses the IP address only during the connection to determine the country, without storing it. The only cookies used are a necessary cookie to remember your privacy choice and, if you accept them, Google Analytics 4 analytics cookies.

4. Google Analytics

Metricool Visit Tracker records anonymous, aggregate visits and page views without installing cookies or assigning unique identifiers. If you accept the analytics category, Google Tag Manager is also loaded to manage Google Analytics 4 and collect usage statistics. Consent Mode is configured in basic mode: neither the container nor the tag loads or transmits data to Google until the analytics category is accepted. Google Signals, advertising features and Google Ads linking remain disabled.

Google Analytics event data retention is set to 2 months. Analytics cookies are configured for a maximum duration of 12 months, without automatic renewal on each visit. You can withdraw consent through “Cookie settings”; doing so prevents future loading of analytics cookies.

5. Browser settings

In addition to the website settings panel, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect some functions. Consult the help for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge or your chosen browser for instructions.
